Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this Site.
The company, including all directors, employees, contractors, and representatives (hereby collectively referred to as the “Eligible Business”), use of this website (the "Site"), enrollment into the Air Canada for Business SMB program (the "Program"), and purchase of products and services offered on this Site are subject to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. Air Canada reserves the right to modify or change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
1. Eligible Business: The Program is open only to businesses and not-for-profit organizations that are duly registered and doing business in Canada or have a Canadian-based office and do not have an existing corporate agreement with Air Canada. Eligible Travellers (as defined below) of Eligible Business must use their professional work email addresses to purchase products and services offered on this Site. Travel agencies, wholesalers, consolidators, and other entities engaged in the selling or distribution of air transportation or packages comprising air transportation are not eligible for the Program. Air Canada reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to determine the eligibility of the Eligible Business, as well as the right to cancel, modify or otherwise terminate an Eligible Business's enrolment into the Program or amend this Program, including eligibility requirements.
2. Enrollment: A duly completed enrollment form must be submitted by, or at the express direction of a duly authorized person of the Eligible Business who will act as the senior contact for the Program ("Travel Administrator"). Eligible Business representatives can enroll online by going to the www.aircanada.com homepage, clicking on the Air Canada for Business SMB hub and then on the “Small and medium business program”.
3. A second Travel Administrator can be added to the Business Portal. Both Travel Administrators can equally fulfill administrative functions as permitted under these Terms and Conditions. The Travel Administrators are responsible for ensuring that Eligible Travellers (defined below) adhere to the Terms and Conditions of this Program and all relevant policies and procedures. Once enrollment is approved, the Eligible Business will be assigned a unique Program number ("Permanent NTP ID”) via e-mail within three to five (3-5) business days of registration.
4. Eligible Travellers: Each Eligible Business is responsible for ensuring that all persons and travellers using their business account have an active professional work email address. Eligible Travellers must be employed or contracted by the Eligible Business or by the Eligible Business's subsidiaries or affiliates. They must be travelling for the purpose of business activities related to the Eligible Business, and their travel costs hereunder must be paid directly by the Eligible Business.
5. Eligible Business Status and Audit: Air Canada reserves the right, at any time, to deactivate and terminate an account that does not meet the Program's Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to abuse of Program privileges, or misrepresentation of any information provided to Air Canada).
6. Inactive Companies: Air Canada reserves the right to provide information only to an "Active" Eligible Business. An "Active" Eligible Business is defined as a business that has enrolled in the Program within the last 12 months or has tracked travel activity from at least two Eligible Travellers in the previous 6 months. Air Canada reserves the right to terminate any account after 6 months of inactivity. Air Canada has no obligation to advise an Eligible Business that its account has been terminated or inactive.
7. Consent to Register Travellers in the Business Account: It is the responsibility of the Travel Administrators to advise, obtain, and track the consent of the Eligible Business’s employees or contractors before inviting or registering them as Eligible Travellers under the Program. Profile information and accuracy (legal name, professional work email, and Aeroplan number) under the Program is the Eligible Traveller’s responsibility. Eligible Travellers will receive email communication from Air Canada regarding their business bookings.
8. Business Profile: The Travel Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the Eligible Business profile and contact information is up to date. A travel agency cannot enroll on behalf of a Business or add the travel agency’s contact information to the Eligible Business’s profile.
9. Consent for Company Revenue Tracking: By enrolling in the Program, the Eligible Business authorizes Air Canada to keep track of the flights purchased and flown by the Eligible Travellers through the Program and to use this information to determine the Eligible Business’s Status Qualifying Miles (SQM) related rewards and bonuses to which it is entitled. Bookings made through the Program using the Eligible Business’ Program number or program discount code on Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, or Air Canada Express and/or on our code-shared flights are eligible for tracking after the flight segments are flown.
10. The Travel Administrators can request the transfer of Status Qualifying Miles (SQM) accrued by the Eligible Business and transfer them to any person in the company with an Aeroplan Membership number. The recipient can redeem these transferred Status
Qualifying Miles
(SQM). The recipient’s use and redemption of the transferred miles will be subject to the Aeroplan Program Terms and Conditions.
SQM transfers may be requested online through the Air Canada for Business SMB program Contact us form only. Status Qualifying Miles (SQM) transferred through the Program are non-refundable and non-transferrable and will not be reversed or redeposited to the Eligible Business account under any circumstances once a transfer is complete.
11. Aeroplan Accumulation: Aeroplan points will be credited to the Aeroplan account of the Eligible Traveller, regardless of who pays for the ticket. The following will apply to the Aeroplan Accumulation:

12. Program Discounts may apply to Eligible Travellers on the applicable published Flex and higher fares (excludes Basic and Standard fares) on Aircanada.com for Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge, and/or Air Canada Express-operated flights only. Eligible Program Travellers may generate unlimited unique Program discount codes (“SMB Discount Codes”) annually. Each SMB Discount Code can be used for 1 booking (one-way or round trip/multi-city itinerary) and a maximum of 9 passengers, including the employee. Unless otherwise specified, the Program offers and discounts are not combinable with any other discount or promotion. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
13. Indemnity: The Eligible Business shall indemnify and hold harmless Air Canada, its parent and affiliate entities, from and against any claim, demand, costs, loss, expense, damage, and any other liability or prejudice that results from the Eligible Business or any of its Eligible Traveller’s breach, participation of or non-compliance with the Program and its Terms and Conditions or any breach of applicable laws.
By enrolling in the Program, the Eligible Business agrees to release and discharge Air Canada, its affiliates and representatives, and each of its respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and successors, and assigns, from any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage or expense asserted by any person or entity including, without limitation, relating in any way i) to Eligible Business and Eligible Travellers’ participation in the Program; or ii) Eligible Business or any of its Eligible Traveller’s breach, or non-compliance with the Program and its Terms and Conditions or any applicable laws.
14. Changes to Eligible Business Information: Any changes to the Eligible Business's address, details, or Travel Administrator contact information must be sent by a Travel Administrator by an authorized Eligible Traveller to Contact us.Requests must be accompanied by the Eligible Business's unique program number (Permanent NTP ID). Certain changes may require authorization on Eligible Business letterhead. Air Canada will not be responsible for lost, destroyed, or misdirected e-mails, other communications, or any consequences thereof.
15. Communications: The Travel Administrator agrees to receive Program mail communications, telephone calls and/or e-mails. The Eligible Business may choose to stop receiving communications by communicating with Contact us.
16. Termination: If an Eligible Business wishes to terminate its membership in the Program, the request must be sent to Air Canada Contact us by the Travel Administrator. Requests must be accompanied by the Eligible Business's program number (Permanent NTP ID).
17. Travel Administrator Confirmation: By enrolling, the Travel Administrator confirms the following: (a) that the Eligible Business meets all eligibility criteria for the Program, (b) that the Travel Administrator has the authority to enroll the Eligible Business in the Program, and (c) that the Travel Administrator accepts the Terms and Conditions of this Program on behalf of the Eligible Business. The Eligible Business must comply with and ensure that Eligible Travellers adhere to these Terms and Conditions of the Program.
18. Conditions of Carriage: All transportation and related service provisions are subject to Air Canada’s General Conditions of Carriage and Tariffs conditions of carriage; Air Canada’s General Conditions of Carriage and Tariffs shall prevail.
19. All benefits of the Program are conditional upon acceptance of (and compliance with) these Terms and Conditions, Air Canada’s General Conditions of Carriage and Tariffs , Air Canada’s fare rules, the rules and policies described in the Aeroplan Program terms and conditions, the terms and conditions described elsewhere throughout AirCanada.com and all other applicable Air Canada rules and regulations (collectively, the “Program Rules”) by Eligible Traveller and/or Eligible Business. Unless otherwise stated, the current Program Rules in effect at the time of the Eligible Business’ enrollment or transaction request will govern that transaction. These Program Rules are subject to change at any time. Air Canada has the sole right to interpret and apply these Program Rules. Please check back frequently for program updates or rule changes.
